What does biodegradable mean?
Biodegradation is the process by which organic substances are broken down by living organisms. Biodegradable plastics are plastics that will decompose in the natural environment and whose components are derived from renewable raw materials

Will the BioPoncho™ or biodegradable poncho disappear as soon as it starts raining?
No! Biodegradation of the BioPoncho™ or the biodegradable poncho will not begin until it is in contact with the micro-organisms found in compost, wet soil, etc. The easiest way to think of the BioPoncho™ or biodegradable poncho is that it behaves in exactly the same way as a conventional poncho up until the point where it is responsibly disposed of

What base colour is available for the BioPoncho™ or biodegradable ponchos?
The BioPoncho™ and the biodegradable poncho, in its natural undyed colour, is translucent cream / off white.  It is possible to Pantone match the base material using a master batch on very high volume orders - please contact us for more information. However, the oxydegradable poncho can be Pantone matched from 5,000 units

Can you print my brand or company logo on your ponchos?
Yes we can. We can print any solid colour logo in up to 4 colours. For a more detailed print specification, please get in touch with us

Is there a minimum order quantity?
For all ponchos printed with your brand or company logo, the minimum order quantity is 5,000 units. However, occaisionally, we do hold stock of our standard BioPoncho™ here in the UK which can despatched to you within 48 hours (minimum order quantity 200) - please contact us to ascertain current stock levels

If I need to supply you with my brand or company logo, what format and where should I send it?
Please supply all artwork as an Illustrator eps file with any fonts converted to outline and Pantone references specified. Artwork can be sent by email to sales@bio-poncho.com or by post, to A&W Building, The Docks, Portishead, BS20 7DF, clearly maked ‘FAO Studio – BioPoncho™’. If you need help with your design or logo, we can offer you a studio service

What is the production lead-time on the ponchos that you offer?
For a branded Bio Poncho™, depending on the quantity you require, we would usually need up to 8 - 12 weeks. However, if your order is urgent, we can offer an express service - please contact us to discuss this in more detail

Do you only deliver to the UK?
No, we can deliver all over the world. Please contact us with your requirements where we will be please to help you

Can I see a physical sample of the ponchos that you offer?
As everything we product is made to order, we do not hold mass stocks of any of the range. As we are currently holding plain stock of the BioPoncho™, we are more than happy to send you a sample of this particular poncho. Due to an increased demand for samples of this product, unfortuately, we can no longer provide these free of charge. Please email or call us to request your sample

Do you offer 'standard' ponchos?
Of course. We understand that our range of environmentally friendly ponchos may not be suited to everyone. Please don't hesitate to contact us to discuss your requirements
